Young Widow A Memoir Sarah E Wauterlek 9780615543369 Books Reviews

A real and honest review of a tragic loss. Speaks to any of us who have lost loved ones unexpectedly.
I received this book as a gift the week after my husband passed away unexpectedly when I was 28. Before I even began reading this book, I felt a sense of peace knowing that I was not alone. As I read the book, it filled me with strength and hope to know that out of tragedy, it was possible to come out a better person, and that it was okay to be happy again someday.

After reading the book, I recommended to several friends. It helped them to get a small glimpse into what it is like to lose your husband and best friend at a young age.

Highly recommended to anyone who is going through the same situation, to anyone who knows someone that is suffering, or to anyone that is in need of an inspirational story. This book will help you move forward, help you help others, or help you view life with a new perspective.
Such a moving story written from the heart. Truly inspirational and appropriate for anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one.
Very well written book. I could not put it down...even though it was hard at times to read Sarah's words. This book was beautiful in so many ways.
This book was quite captivating and a recommended read...she invites you into intimate moments of her life while both directly & indirectly providing comfort to those dealing in loss... a book of therapy, insight, humility, vulnerability, and hope
If you have lost a loved one or know of someone who has, this book encourages one to know they are not alone. Highly recommend this book, the author's writing is easy to follow and her heart is opened to see the pain and sadness of a trial like this. Life is not easy, this book will help others when one has lost someone very special.
This book shares a story that is rare on the book market a young childless woman grappling with everything that comes with losing her husband. Wauterlek delves deeply into both the good and the bad here; she clearly wants other women who deal with this and read her book to know what they are going to be up against. It's an honest portrayal of a life altering event and the aftermath.
